PM: Tombs - re good news story (NBTTT)
All summer we had a crow living in our garden. It had obviously been attacked, lost it's tail and flight feathers, and couldn't fly. Came out from the shrubbery ever day to get food under the bird feeder and I used to put some out on the ground for it and our resident Pheasants.
We didn't see him again after we came home from holiday in September so assumed he'd become a meal for some thing
Anyway, last few days a loan crow with full feathers has been coming in the garden and following the same routes that Hoppity used to. I'm convinced it is him.
I was rather chuffed that he'd survived and remembered where he had sheltered
