Good points well made

Sadly with the odd notable exception the Champions League is not conducive to all out Banzai football. The qualifying games are normally stultifyingly boring and then there is just so much to lose from then on. Granted there have been some tip top games but sadly not many. Obviously Wenger opted for a closed shop instead of killing the game off as they could. An early Villareal goal would have meant the atmosphere in that stadium would give them a definite edge.

Campbell was a revelation though I thought.
