In defence of the timing...

- It gave us two weeks to get the new person in
- It gave Farke the chance to say goodbye to the players (which he did)
- It meant that we could sell the club as having a chance of staying up to prospective managers (who would back themeselves to do that) rather than being relegation certainties.
- It gives us the chance of a 'new manager bounce' when facing a run of slightly easier games.

The timing was a shock but there were lots of good reasons.,
