We could have lost by 5 or 6, all ifs and buts. I think from when we were relegated Farke realised we needed a plan b, hence Hugill and Sergeant, but although it had gone too far by Leeds. But we hadn’t won so he quite rightly was trying anything.

The timing of his sacking was so poor. The utter disbelief when everyone found out. I’ve said to non Norwich fans, ‘I won’t forget that weekend in a hurry’. The only thing to make that understandable was to have an appointment lined up. We don’t know the full story, but it doesn’t look like that was case. And we don’t know the full story on why Farke was sacked, but from what we do know we’ve taken a punt from a position of relative strength (having Farke as our manager, on a 4 year contract)
