Wilder speaking some sense on MOTD2
Wages being a bigger factor that transfer fees in relation to quality of players we can attract/obtain.
Even more pertinent, "what sort of club do you want to be?" One who might gamble their very existence on getting 17th place, with no guarantee???
As painful as it all is, this is the product of modern football. Currently the runaway unbeaten leaders of The Championship received a 6-0 thrashing by the Premier League "whipping boys" who can't buy a win. What does that say about the future of the football pyramid at the top levels?
It's all bloody frustrating, that's for sure. That first half was pretty decent and if either or both of Pukki's or Normann's shots go in, we would have cantered through that game. Yes, piss poor last half hour, but don't lose sight of the positives.
I still don't see how removing Farke achieves anything, unless you bring in another coach with similar ethos. Otherwise you throw away 4 years of the ''project', clear out loads of staff and start again... really?
Would people honestly want Bruce or Hodgson? Just because the name is familiar doesn't mean guaranteed success... just like if you play for a top Club, it doesn't make you a 1st team starter... Gilmour!
Where do we go from here? Well, for me it's a deep breath, keep being proud to be a Norwich supporter, and renewed hope for next week... the world will keep turning, the sun will come up, we will win a game.
