I think it's reasonable to question the system

Not the big system, i.e. signing players that are young and hungry with a view to improving them and selling them, but rather the system in terms of how we set up for each match.

It bothers me that Man City had SUCH an easy afternoon. Not saying they won't smash other teams by 5, I'm sure they will, but it was too easy. Our defending was weak, the game plan seemed to play straight into their hands.

No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, but clearly some tweaking of the system is required, together with better individual performances.
