Still think Amadou may have worked

if we'd had the luxury of easing him into the system rather than having to dump him in at CB in a team that was struggling to name a full bench.

I think good CDM's are not that easy to find - I also think that Gilmour / PLM / McLean as a midfield 3 with the right coaching could provide that solidity and anchoring.

Would love to have Skipp or similar back in too and think it'd help, but it's the system we need to work on as well as the personnel.
