Thought we played pretty well…

But I still think Farke has some blind spots:

1) Zonal marking continues to cost us.
2) Bringing everyone back for corners and free kicks continues to invite pressure and limit our ability to counter/hold the ball up the pitch.
3) Subs are still too late - we’ve got a stronger bench but the game was slipping away but he waited and waited and made changes after the game had gone.

Everyone in the squad/staff has been saying that we’ve learnt from last time and won’t be so naive, but to refuse to at least try to switch some of these things up strikes me as odd. Our philosophy didn’t look too different to 2 years ago today, so I’m wondering exactly what we have learned.

That said, lots of positives from our general play - hopefully we can get through this nasty run of fixtures without getting destroyed and then we can push on.
