We went out on the lake in double kayaks the weekend before last.
Now we're far from being fit, however even if we had been I think we'd have felt the same pain in our backs, thighs, hamstrings and the like.
I don't imagine it would have been anywhere near as painful if we'd been stood up, maybe we'd have got wetter from toppling over but less pain.
