I know i know but im pissed so indulge me. Hes not just another player. Hes not madders/wes/fleck/gordon/sutton.

He is quite simply the best footballer i have seen wear the shirt (including snoop!).

The serious point is that take his output from the team and we are f**ked. And even if we stayed up playing more pragmatic footy, it would still feel rough.

They say there will be another. He trained with the greatest of all time as an equal yesterday. Not many prem teams let alone anyone else could possibly have imagined it.

We are lucky to have kept him for so long and we will rise again, but make no mistake, we currently have a player who could genuinely compete fpr the ballon'dor one day.
