I’ve had it since my 20s - so 30+ years and it could be from going to gigs,but it was manageable and not really a problem.
Recently,though, it’s louder than my talking voice in both ears. High pitched,a bit like air escaping or a very thin white noise. Also get lots of pops and clicks too.
There’s not much they can do apparently ( although t’internet is of course full of miracle cures) but I have heard that you can get some in ear noise cancelling things and wondered if anyone had used them.
I can just about live with it if I have background noise/radio/music but it’s now becoming a real pain.
