In one of my occasional cheery Covid updates

The number of people being admitted to hospital with Covid each day is around 25% lower than it was only a week ago. And it's down by about 55% from its peak in the second week of Jan.

And the number of new Covid cases each day is continuing to fall at an amazingly steady rate. It's been falling by about 4% a day - or a weekly rate of 25% - for nearly three weeks now, with hardly any deviation from that. The number of new cases each day is now down by *70%* from the peak rate it got to after the government decided to 'save Christmas'.

Keep on keeping on all. It is working.
