CITY ANNOUNCE £15 MILLION SECURITISATION

NORWICH CITY FOOTBALL CLUB today announced that it has agreed terms for a £15 million securitisation package to refinance the Club's existing debt and provide finance for the development of Carrow Road.

The loan, which is repayable over 15 years, is payable to the Club in two instalments of £7.5 million. The first instalment has been received by the Club already, with the next £7.5 million to follow when the Club agrees terms with RG Carter for the construction of the new South Stand. The first instalment of £7.5 million has been allocated as follows:

- £2 million filling the hole left by ITV Digital for season 2003/2004
- repaying £3 million of short to medium-term debt to Girobank, of which up to £1.75 million was repayable on demand
- repaying £0.75 million of other secured and unsecured Club debts
- covering £1.5 million of site development costs to-date
