The rate of new cases and new deaths there is truly terrible.

The delays in getting vaccines will clearly compound this.

On a lighter note, AZ finally ended their Tiff with the EMA and asked for approval. So that should save some lives.

Also, the social distancing measures Introduced to tackle covid are looking like they work really well on seasonal influenza.
