I'm not against people getting out there
I pay a lot of money to use the waterways and sea responsibly, rod licenses, fishing permits, boat licenses, dinghy licenses, canal licenses, insurance, boat safety inspections, insurance inspections, mooring fees. I also clean a lot of mess up while out there.
Some clueless moron pops to Aldi, buys a kayak, fishing set, alcohol and disposable barbeques, then goes out and uses the waterways I help to maintain irresponsibly, for free. I see it time and time again and it really hacks me off.
Fuck. You were right. I am Meldrew.
It's a very personal bugbear of mine.
