PM: Bamber Saucecoigne, quizological point of order if i may?
in tonights pot luck quiz i am calling for a regain on question two:
2) Author Ian Fleming owned a home in Jamaica. What did name it?
Surely "Ian Fleming" named it and not "Goldeneye" as per your answers? Goldeneye is either; a migratory northern diving duck, the male of which has a dark head with a white cheek patch and yellow eyes, or it is a fictional electro-magnetic orbital weapon developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War featured in the James Bond movie of the same name. One is a non verbalising waterfowl with a vocabulary limited to quacking, and the other a fictitional construct of one mans vivid imagination made famous in a cheesy movie and therefore both are incapable of naming anything let alone a house.
I respectfully request that question two be summarily reviewed and that I get two additional points. thank you.
