Positives are for the younger generations I guess

They are vanishingly unlikely to die of it if they get it, and a less stringent approach would allow them to get on with life - be educated, go to work, socialise. Instead of being laden down with massive, massive debts which they'll be repaying through higher taxes (assuming the economy recovers enough for them to get jobs), said debts having been incurred only to preserve older people, many of whom have less than 5 years of life left anyway and who won't be paying the costs of it all.

There's a case to be made for managing this through more self-determination - if you're vulnerable then isolate etc, but let non-vulnerable people have more freedom
