injuries are becoming a bit of a negative (again ...) - Dowell, 1L, Quintilla, Zimbo for a time - I think we miss the first 3 of those particularly (hopefully not Quintilla for long)

I think if we hang in there til xmas we'll be ok (for top 6 at least) - I do agree that it's hard to shake off the prem hangover plus the general misery of empty stadiums (and in the case of Emi and Todd some transfer spec). Brentford looked like a team still on the up after last year - full of confidence and understanding - I know we could have scored a few and had some possession blah blah, but overall, they looked a better team to me - they made chances (we really didn't), they defended v solidly (hmm ...), they swarmed all over us when we had possession (we seemed to amble about a bit) - we were lucky I think not to lose by 3. But hey ho, we "found a way" and at least we all know the potential is there.
