My point isn’t that granular
Even sides with big budgets find it very hard to survive with a possession based football approach. I’m asking a question not about whether we can do well in the championship, or whether farke is a good manager, the answer to both of those questions is clearly yes.
As I said, in our case it’s a question for another season, but in general, are others comfortable that the Farke possession based style is the right way to go if the objective is a period of sustained PL football? I don’t think we need to throw the baby out with the bath water, but I’d like to see a higher energy to our pressing and quicker breaks (there were flashes of this at Luton and Huddersfield)
