You really need one of the media folks but most have flounced so

PA is a news agency really - has its journalists and then they will 'sell/syndicate' their content to publications - ie you may read something in a newspaper/online site that hasn't been written by a journalist dedicated to that publication.

A lot of journalists don't do interviews as such anymore but send a set of questions and answered by email. Then that gets published as an interview. I have a bit more experience of this as it seems to be the norm with most of the trade press, and I suspect given the lack of IRL contact right now, it's increasing everywhere.

So it's likely that PA journo would have sent out some kind of 'want to write about your player' to agents, adding these these questions, probably selecting a few of the more interesting players, and then creates their story around it - and off the content goes to anyone who wants to publish it. As H points out this isn't exactly critical news for Aberdeen but they might as well fill up some space. It will appear elsewhere.

I don't feel it's done with any insight - every quote in it could have been a fairly obvious answer to a question like "If the right offer came in would you consider moving" - but wrapped together it seems like it was much more staged. It may have been an agent instigating it, but it's not some major scoop. As I said back up towards the top, I don't think it's anything indicative but if he moves then it can all be 'well the article hinted at that' and if he doesn't - well he said he was happy at Norwich.
