Yes - I think a consolation will be that a lot of universities are desperate for students
and therefore likely to be sympathetic and/or there will be clearing places available.
I suspect those most affected will be students at unis with the biggest demand for courses where entry requirements are quite high and they rely on not everyone getting their predicted grades.
