CeMAP is a pretty straightforward exam, I don’t know what is costs as it was funded by my then employer.
Most mortgage advisers I know are earning £40kish....
The mortgage advisers I work with are stupidly busy and we have just recruited another couple so the market is good at the moment.
The one note of caution is what happens after the stamp duty holiday ends in March 2021.
