The Adams debacle is the one that's impossible to understand. Almost like it was a decision made on emotion rather than the usual logic.

Yeah, it would have been interesting if he had stayed. I don't think Neil would have lasted as long as he did, and I guess he would have probably gone for another young, hungry manager in the mould of Neil and Lambert to get us out of the Championship. We could have ended up drifting in the Championship, or maybe another manager would have got us promoted with Maddison and Godfrey as an all conquering midfield force. Who knows!?
