Yes, I can see why you might say that about the managers, but

There didn't seem to be as much joined up thinking as there is now. To go from Lambert with an attacking style, with an emphasis on buying young and hungry players to Hughton was a massive change. Lots of great young players, but not ever sure Neil would have used them -Maddison didn't get much chance under him (this comment could be massively unfair).

Think I'm right in saying that Mcnally brought in Kensall and set the wheels in motion to bring in Zoe Ward too. Would have been interesting if we had moved towards our model under Mcnally. Love both Mcnally and Webber and it's interesting there seem to be 2 very different approaches!
