To be fair

I'd shut Keighley down full stop. If ever there was a place that was a waste of bricks it's this place!!! Makes Ipswich look chic and bohemian!! It's always struck me as strange how Skipton has flourished and keighley has nosedived in the last 50 years, despite there only being 10 miles between the two.one a rural market town, reliant on tourists and serving the affluent agricultural community. The other reliant on the mill industry and latterly light engineering.
I'd not heard of any factories in keighley being shut. As you say he's prob got confused with Kirklees.
