Whenever we go go away on holiday or a short break I buy an OS Explorer map, even if it’s
unlikely that we’ll return. I just love studying the terrain, the names of farms, hills, stone circles, woods etc and imagining how they got those names and the people that lived there. I’ve got about 40ish and every now and then I’ll get one out and have a nosey. Sometimes I’ll have a Google for more info
