Do VAR and Hawkeye use different cameras?

As someone mentioned earlier for Hawkeye to work multiple cameras need to have clear line of sight of the ball so that the exact position of the ball in relation to the goal line can be triangulated. With VAR you just have an operator utilising technology to place lines across the pitch.

The problem yesterday for Hawkeye was a technical issue (not enough cameras could view the ball) and for VAR it appears it was an operator decision not to question Hawkeye.
