I went for a check-up the day after each op.
My good eye was done first and I was told my vision in that eye was theoretically good enough for me to begin driving the day after surgery, but advised that I wait until the weaker eye was done and a few days passed after that. It really didn't take much time to feel the benefit and the after-care was very good.
