He seems to have been to slow bowling what Shack was to fast medium. I only saw the very end of Shack, but watched Sainsbury for years. Decent middle order batsmen too and a lot of the 1973 championship was built on him and Mike Taylor as middle order all rounders.

Sains was in both 1961 and 1973 Championship winning teams.
