I was once eavesdropping on a bus in Cambridge

The chap was an actor/acting coach. It was about the time of Kingdom with its variety of non-Norfolk accents.
He said that he spent a lot of time coaching people into the Norfolk accent, and explained the subtleties very well - but said that invariably having gone through all that, even the best actors would then fall into some sort of Zummerzet brogue.
It appears that it's something special, in case we didn't already know.
