We probably won't accept it but the line will be that we finished bottom 3 so

can't argue about being relegated and its up to the EFL to decide how their league is finished and which three teams get promoted.

I honestly don't see how we can prevent relegation if we finish our games other than getting the points to stay up (and to be honest its hard to argue we don't deserve to go down in that scenario other than perhaps pointing to the fact we lost genuine home advantage for 5 winnable games but I don;t think that's enough).

Us being relegated on PPG is the only scenario where I think we could have a really legitimate grievance. If both promotion and relegation happened on PPG then I am not sure it makes a huge amount of difference to the strength our case (our main gripe would still be us going down) although it obviously just looks even more unfair for some clubs to have been handed a windfall at the same time as we have stripped of our premier league status.
