Funny how within 24 hours of Webber and Glen Murray making their comments last week a couple of stories suddenly appeared about how the championship clubs were desperate to finish the season and were going to start before the premier league. Since then, nothing.

I think the plan is to continue to publically say they are going to finish, adopt PPG and promotion/relegation as normal as their "fallback" and then when the time is right (and the prem is committed to finishing) ditch the season and promote Leeds and WBA on PPG plus one other via the playoffs.
