The FA ultimately has to sanction any outcome.

The FA ruled that non league results should be expunged with no promotion or relegation because points per game is unfair and not “sporting merit.”

And then a few weeks later the same FA tells the premier league meeting that it has to relegate teams on sporting merit if the season is curtailed.

Sure it’s just a coincidence that a certain Mr Parry sits on the FA Board who supposedly decided the premier league meeting should be told that as well as being chief exec of the EFL who are now actively pushing this PPG solution in the event of curtailment. No conflict there!

I hope that the premier teams rebel against it or if they don’t and the season is curtailed and we get relegated on PPG I hope and expect us to exhaust every avenue open to us to challenge that decision by the premier league.
