While I agree with you sentiment..........
its often the overspending Champs clubs who buy players from the lower leagues. That puts a lot of capital into their coffers.
I wouldn't underestimate the trickle down effects.
You would also think that FFP will go out the window in the champs especially. Most clubs will need a rich owner bailout.
I guess we will see which owners are real fans!
