I’ve had a good day too. First thing, I got a lovely email from a dad to say thank you for the way virtual school is going. Then I found hidden in the back of my sock draw A BRAND NEW PAIR OF CASHMERE SOCKS I was given for Christmas and had completely forgotten about. (I am wearing them now).
I also had a lovely email from my auntie Maureen. I’d contacted her because I want to do something about VE day next week and I wondered if she had any memories of what she and my mum were up to.
Mind you to balance things, I also found out that the husband of my old neighbour from where I grew up, has died of CV 19 🙁
