Despite the fact we are bottom and despite the fact we deserve to be there it will

be really unjust and unfair if we are relegated without he opportunity to complete the season. And it will also be unjust if others are promoted in our place without having actually earnt promotion over a full season.

There seems to be a general acceptance that Leeds and WBA deserve to be promoted (and that we deserve to get relegated) but we earnt that over a whole season that ran its full course. They haven't and neither is home and dry. We earnt a shot at staying in the prem and being in it for a full season with the guaranteed income that brings.

If the relegation were to be imposed based on current standings not only would we potentially miss out on the matchday income for the last 9 games but presumably also a chunk of TV money and on top of that we would be relegated. I know there are more important things in life at present but it would leave me an even more bitter football fan than I am now.

I hope that the stakes of relegation in England being so high mean our authorities will just ditch relegation. I'm sure if it was just us then they wouldn't but perhaps with the Villa/Watford/Bournemouth situation being so tight it will save us!
