As our folks told us growing up, "finish what you start".

Whenever it's safe to have players and fans in stadiums, finish the current season then worry about what to do with the next one. Maintains the spirit of fair competition and avoids some clubs being unfairly rewarded or punished. Issues like player contracts running out at end of June are minor ones that can be solved.
