and listening to the radio (hits fm actually, it's a "new" station that appeared on my DAB station finder today when searching for something, anything that wasn't adverts/politics) chirpy young lady says "and now we go to my favourite part of the show Millionaire Cash Register. if you registered online or by text please be by your phone and you could be in line to win a cash prize today but you have to pick up within 5 rings and you have to state the exact sum we mentioned at the start of the show"

so she punches in a number and it rings, a disembodied dramatic voice goes "ONE RING!" then another ring tone *brrr brrr* TWO RINGS! brrr brrr "THREE RINGS" and i am thinking come on pick up the f**king phone whoever it is and then ... they do "err hello" says a youngish sounding chap. Hi it's Hits FM blah blah blah whats your name?" "oh hi, it's Daniel Smith (or whatever his real surname is) and I'm in Pontins!" "oh nice on Holiday then?" "Yes with my wife and 4 kids, she's looking after them at the swimming pool" and now i'm like *oh my god do not f**k this up Daniel you obviously ain't living the high life mon amis* and i don't know what the prize is. So DJ says "what was the exact figure we mentioned at the start of the show Daniel?" and he frigging nails it, £45,432.10p Whoop! WHOOP! Daniel is stunned he can't believe it. I am very happy for Daniel and his little family in Pontins, they gonna have a lovely holiday.
