I never thought it would be easy but I really thought we would fare better than we are

especially after we beat Man City. That should have been the launchpad for us to try and establish ourselves in the middle of the table but since then it has been an absolute, unmitigated disaster.

No idea if its connected but I still maintain that there was way, way too much back slapping and premature celebration after that game.
