clearly the idea was to bury the bad news
by releasing it yesterday.
It seems an overly cynical move, especially bearing in mind the huge cash windfall that is coming our way.
But the club are doubtless happy, with the press headlines focused on the 'Tickets for £30' headline, with the "But it will cost £100+ to be in with a chance' relegated to sidebar.
