When I spoke to Ben Kensell (thinly veiled etc) yesterday, I asked when the decision ...
... was made. He told me four weeks ago.
I made the point that had they announced it four weeks ago they could have avoided some of the fuss and not made it feel like they were rushing us into spending £50 or risking missing out, and he said that they were looking into how that was managed and they regretted it.
In other words, “yes, we know, that’s why we did it.”
