If someone in football regards a few posts on messageboards questioning

their approach as abuse or stick then they need to get a thicker skin. But I think Webber knows full well that he and Farke didn't get abuse, the perception that they did is just a helpful bit of PR (note the person who initially brought it up was Webber himself before the lazy national media picked it up at the end of the season - "ooh clever old Norwich City, all their stupid fans wanted Farke sacked but they ignored them and now they've got promoted. Well done them for sticking to their guns, just shows you should never listen to the stupid fans what do they know....."

There were very few calls for either to be sacked, there was no real booing or abuse in the ground and certainly no chanting for Farke to be sacked. there were undoubtedly some grumbles at times and some sounding off on social media during or immediately after games when things were going not going well. Personally I remember losing the plot after we went behind at the sc*m and in the previous season after we lost away somewhere pathetically towards the end of the season. That will always happen. That's football.
