I have a meaty commute, but not from Norwich

And not actually anything like as long as from Norwich; 45 mins on the train for me.

Tips from me:

1) factor in the journey to the station in Norwich and the onward journey in London. Working near Liverpool Street vs a lengthy tube journey on top makes a big difference.

2) does the job offer flexibility if you need it? I can work from home on an ad hoc basis which I do one day per week based on diary commitments that week. That kind of thing makes a huge difference - also I can come in early / leave early etc.

3) could you try out the commute and see how you find if?

4) if you took the job and did it for a year, but didn’t like the job or couldn’t hack the commute would it be easy to get a job local to you again?
