We've been pretty consistent havn't we at keeping our wage bill at around

65%-70% of turnover for the last few years.

The problems appear to have arisen when we signed a few players who did not have the same level of wage reduction on relegation and who were either sh*t or constantly injured and thus also were not sellable.

Our new model should at least avoid a repeat of those errors as hopefully most if not all players we buy will be acquired with re-sale value factored in as a consideration.
