taking the dawn of the premier (1992) as a convenient starting point, Newcastle have only been out of it for three seasons (the very first one, plus single seasons in 10-11 and 17-18). So they've been there for 24 out of the 27.
So pretty much 'established' - except that the last season outside was sufficiently recent that they might still feel a bit nervous...)
Next closest is West Ham I think - they've only been missing for four out of the 27 seasons. Which is a bit annoying.)
