We're doing that next month - is £55 return the total train fare or per person?

If it's the former, that's incredibly cheap.

I think I'd worked out that it would be better for us to drive and park at Heathrow. Saves train/connections/luggage faff etc and seems to be cheaper... perhaps not for you though!
