I would expect us to do better than 2 points from Reading at home and Wigan away

regardless of what had gone before to be honest.

I don;t think it is to do with expectations though really or at least not in terms of expectations that we win every game. We have seen how this team plays when at its best. It hasn't played like that for parts of the Reading game and for most of the Wigan game. Fans feel this is in part because Farke has not picked the best team. thats all it is.

Had we played wonderful football at Wigan, battered them and unluckily ended up with a draw I doubt you would have seen the same comments about the team selection.
