telling him to ignore the "haters".

Apart from a tiny number of people Tweeting that he's s**t - really tiny - I have seen no "haters". Just people saying they'd rather the more experienced, and incredibly brilliant MV or ML start instead.

Todd has done nothing wrong for Tweeting what he did, and the club did nothing wrong for RTing it, showing support for him as they do ALL their players when they Tweet stuff.

The problem is fans making a bloody massive show of it and telling him to ignore the "haters". He now thinks there are loads and loads of haters. There is an infinitesimally small number of "haters".
