So here is a question, maybe one for anyone off of here who work

In the law or trading standards.

Last Monday I purchased a bag of frozen skinny fries from Tesco’s in Diss on my way to Centre Parcs. When I went to cook the chips to do some holiday chip butties for my kids I noticed there was loads of horrible lumps of what looks like manky chips. We didn’t eat the fries as we was unsure about what the lumps were.

I sent McCain an email and attached photos, they emailed back but didn’t seem too concerned. Almost like this was accepted to have about 20 foreign objects in the bag. They’ve sent me £8 worth of vouchers as a gesture.

Is the £8 an acceptable gesture? I’m not really after compensation, I told them about the issue as I didn’t want others to get lumps in their chips. The thing is when I received the £8 is really has pissed me off, it’s like they don’t really give a s**t.
