it's about what we are trying to do.

It is the negative "tactics"

The inability of any City team under Worthy to dominate possession of the ball by passing it to teammates

The obsession with "work ethic" (see the above point)

The hatred of young rising talent and obsession with 25+ years old journeymen. Ashton was a great buy - a rising talent who scored goals for us and earned us a juicy profit on the deal. How many of Worthy's extremely numerous signings could that be said of?

The total inability to learn from mistakes

In short, I can handle us failing to get out of this division because it is difficult and we aren't a big club. But I want us to fail trying to do the right 9and forward thinking) thing in terms of tactics and transfer policy. At the moment we are failing and not even trying to do the right thing. It is just a series of negative short-term patchups, with players acquired with no real idea about how to fit them together as a team. Nothing for the future is being built here....
